How to use a seamless pattern as the background of a Hide My Site login page

Ever wondered how to set up a repeating seamless pattern in Hide My Site as your background image? Have no fear, this tutorial is here! Note that you will have to be using Hide My Site premium in order to follow along.

Before we start with the tutorial, click on the “After” image above and then zoom in to get a better idea of what we are working towards.

Step 1. Find a seamless pattern that you like

Head on over to http://subtlepatterns.com/. Scroll down until you find a pattern that you like. This is the one that I picked, it’s called “Waves of Value”:

Download your image.

Step 2. Assign your pattern as the background image

In your WordPress admin > Settings > Hide My Site > Custom Background Image, click “Upload Image”. Upload your pattern image from step 1.

Finally, set the “Background Image Position” field to Repeat and then save.

Step 3. Enjoy your fancy new background

In my case, waves of joy and happiness start to overcome me as I appreciate my new background waves. Ah yes, this looks nice!

Note that there are other sites that you can use to find your background pattern images. For starters, try Googling “seamless patterns”.
