Examples of Hide My Site Redirect In Action

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to have Multipass in order to use Redirect?

No. Redirect will work in a case where you just have a single password for your entire site. It will allow you to assign a specific landing page to send users to after entering the Hide My Site password. For example, you might want to send your users to a “Welcome page” or a “Thank you for logging in” page.

How do I use Redirect in combination with Multipass?

Though Multipass is not required, nonetheless one major strength of Redirect comes when used in combination with Multipass. With Redirect and Multipass both active, you are able to assign a different landing page for each of your passwords. Suppose you run a site where you provide private access to movie scripts that you are trying to sell to various companies. Let’s say one company is called CompanyA and the other is CompanyB. Using Multipass, you are able to create a CompanyA password for CompanyA, and a CompanyB password for CompanyB. Now let’s suppose that CompanyA specializes in horror films, while CompanyB deals only in Romantic Comedies. With Redirect, you can send CompanyA users to a landing page that is tailor-made for CompanyA – a page filled with all your best Horror movie scripts. Meanwhile, when CompanyB users log in, they arrive at a landing page featuring only your greatest Romantic Comedy scripts. In this way, Redirect and Multipass combine to give you precise control over your end-user experience.

How do I set the landing page (Redirect URL) that a user arrives at after entering his or her password?

You are able to set the landing page by navigating in your WordPress admin to Settings > Hide My Site > General (top tabs) > Redirect URL.
For Multipass users, you can set the landing page for additional passwords by navigating to Settings > Hide My Site > +Passwords (top tabs) > Select Password > Redirect Url.

What happens if I don’t want to renew my license?

You can log in to your My Account page and choose to cancel your subscription at any time. If you cancel your subscription, your license will remain active for the remainder of the subscription year. After that subscription year ends you will no longer be eligible for product support, you won’t be able to download the plugin from your My Account page, and you will stop receiving plugin updates. Existing sites with the plugin already installed can continue using the plugin forever.

Where do I download the plugin?

Where do I find my license key?

I’m interested in purchasing, but I have a couple questions first. What should I do?
